LAWRENCE MARTENS

Lawrence Martens, 71, of 821 Jordan Rd., De Pere, died Monday in a Green Bay hospital after a long illness. A life-long resident of De Pere, he was born July 2, 1887. He was a painter until his retirement several years ago.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Robert French and Mrs. Marlin Pelegrin, De Pere; two sons, Clayton and Harold, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Lyda Martens, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Presbyteriarn Church, De Pere. The Rev. Leland Rubesh will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the Coffey Funeral Home, De Pere, until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be brought to church.
